Grease Pencil - better shapes selection

Current Grease Pencil selection seems to work mainly based on distance from the mouse cursor to the nearest stroke. This often feels unintuitive when working with filled shapes.

If a stroke has a visible fill area, clicking inside that filled region should prioritize selecting that shape, instead of selecting whichever stroke edge is closest to the cursor.

For example: when clicking inside a filled circle or shape, the clicked filled object should be selected directly, even if the cursor is far from the outline stroke.

This would make Grease Pencil selection feel much more natural for 2D workflows and animation, especially when working with:

  • filled shapes,
  • overlapping fills,
  • comic/cartoon workflows,
  • color-blocked animation.

Suggested behavior:

First test whether the cursor is inside a visible filled shape. If yes, prioritize selecting that shape. Otherwise fall back to current stroke-distance selection behavior.

Right now selection can feel inconsistent because users visually target the fill area, but Blender selects based on nearby stroke edges instead.
