A retiming widget in the graph editor.
Here is how it looks in Maya just as a visual reference.
I think Blender can use the markers as a retiming tool if it's possible to give it this feature otherwise a new tool.

I miss an easy-to-use tool like HLE from Softimage. download.autodesk.com/global/docs/softimage2012/en_us/userguide/index.html
Good point imo.
This made me think that is there any way to draw somehow own 1d curve for interpolation (steps / off-set interpolation curve guide): docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/editors/graph_editor/fcurves/introduction.html like those dynamic effect interpolations, would it be possible to make some kind of curve editor to create more "interpolation presets"/"tween presets" like those nice dynamic effects and easing interpolations etc. Sorry this off-topic just got this "idea"/question when i saw this and i agree: that kind of retiming would make it better.
* @juhamukari * yes that would be awesome. there should be retime curves like envelopes and more dynamic interpolation presets or parameters or custom curve.
2d curves btw. ;)
* @yasharjk * yup.. sorry my bad - 2d curves.. i just thought it will be (the motion itself) "1D" when its interpolation and these dynamic effects (or spring kind of motion feature) but curve itself is 2d.
I spend an hour yesterday re-timing just one animation with this tool. I can't imagine how much more hours it would have take to do the same thing on Blender.
YES! This would be amazing.
