Fade Armatures in Pose Mode
Animator, have you ever intimidated by your own shots? The armature for characters are cluttered when you activate "In Front" feature which supposed to help you see better. And if dozens of characters overlap each other it will make you feel attacked :(
Now it's time for Blender to have option to Fade un-Posed Armature to make animator's life better ;)

This sounds like a way-around feature that fix a bad scenario that shouldn't even happen in the first place.
Why would you even try to display this much information at once? It is already easy enough to clutter a rig just with a spine, why even try to have this many different controllers from this many characters at once? Do you swith between all of these controllers every second for hours?
I fail to see any work-situation that would require that, but maybe it's just me.
But even if there was, the impact on the performances is too important to keep all this stuff displayed at once for no crucial reason. Adding a fade effect would make everything yet heavier.
Besides, the in- front option is not designed to make you see your controllers better. In armatures, it is more suited for the bones inside meshes while rigging and skinning, but the controllers are supposed to be made in a way that makes them easy to use in the first place.
