Separate / Combine XYZ on each node
I spent a lot of time adding "Combine XYZ" and it maks my node tree messy.
If possible, having each node the ability to choose between combined or separated dimensions woud be amazineg.
In terms of logic, I think the separates inputs override the combined viector input.

I dislike the design.
Put the purple socket in front of the text (translation, rotation, scale, Start location, offset,....)
I use channel packed textures a lot and I like idea but dislike the design. By default it looks a lot more crowded and you rarely need input / output component separated on every single node. Can you imagine how much more busy principled node would be? It has 3 color inputs and 3 vector inputs so that's 3x3=9 more sockets.
How about this: you just right click on individual input socket -> it splits into components. Right clicking on rest of node still works as usual. On top of that in right click menu for node there is "separate all inputs / outputs sockets" operator - it works on all selected nodes and their inputs / outputs so you can mass tag selection instead of doing this manually.
Maybe since I'm coming from texture packing perspective I'm more interested in separating color into rgb sockets selectively.
Also repeated right clicking on socket could "cycle" splitting modes (rgb, hsv, xyz and back to color).
This is very needed.
Maybe some kind of UI button that can be clicked to toggle between Vector input and separate X Y Z inputs.
Im constantly using combine rgb and even making a common node into group with separated input and mark them as an assets. So this would be great...
Vector diamond could be in front of the name ie: translation
I wonder how adding a check to see which input would affect performance in these cases? also, what if you were to connect it, but then connect, say, a constant to x?
