Field click context precision

Sometimes (often) holding shift is insufficient for adjusting fields. I propose making fields have hotspots with different precision. So clicking the left half of the field and dragging results in coarse precision. Clicking the right half result in fine precision. Holding shift should divide the initial precision factor. The precision factors could be user configurable (or disabled) through preferences.
