Callback, undo

I'm trying to subscribe on a name change with ( g is a vertex group).

bpy.msgbus.subscribe_rna(
    key=g.path_resolve("name", False),
    owner=g,
    args=(g,)
    notify=name_change_callback,
    options={"PERSISTENT"}
)

The problem is that the callback is never called when the name is changed during the undo step. It's weird.

How to track changes regardless of the changing method?
