Remove Imperial/US Measurements to simplify the codebase
SI units are a global standard and easily manipulated by both humans and code, removing legacy units could simplify the codebase and lead to fewer areas for bugs and/or user confusion.

Do you have examples of bugs related to this topic for us to see? Do you have figures on how much of the code base this would free up?
edit: I myself use Imperial when my reference drawings use Imperial, but for most of my own work I use Metric because it is easier to measure fine details for reproducing objects in Blender and LightBurn for laser work. My work with ArtiosCAD requires me to work with both, but in LightBurn and ArtiosCAD it is as simple as pressing a button to switch between the two in the header.
Americans and anyone working with them would be annoyed by this.
