Smoother Grease pencil turns
Well, I was messing around with 2.8 grease pencil, and then I thought this up. If stroke vertices had normals, you could have an option on the render/viewport to only show vertices/strokes with their normals face the camera, so you could have a bunch of layers with normals facing in different directions, for different views of the character. Then you could put bones on it (already exists) and easily change the displayed angles instead of drawing all of the angles.

So, it would automatically switch between drawings of different views of the character based on the direction the skeleton is facing?
@dpdpforlife: The skeleton is actually not required, and it is the normals of the drawing vertices that are becoming visible or invisible to the render camera.
