Custom Axis Constraint

Blender already has the ability to constrain the movement of an object while modeling along the direction of one of the 3 reference axes, just by pressing the X, Y, or Z key on the keyboard.

I feel this feature should be extended to any custom axis, as it is common in many CAD applications. Together with numerical inputs and snapping it's a really indispensable tool to have.

Sorry, still exists!! On transform selector, create a new orientation, an use to contraint movement on it's axes (Eg, create an orientation, with an edge selected)

2.7 had Transform Orientations. docs.blender.org/manual/es/2.79/editors/3dview/object/editing/transform/control/orientations.html Operators are still in the sources, but seems the feature has disapeared from UI. I'll try to get it back!

I also make proposal for that but nobody interested in CAD.
