On the Issue of Springs in Soft Body Geometry Node Simulation

To achieve soft body simulation, three types of internal forces were constructed: structural springs, bending springs, and shear springs. Currently, I’ve encountered some obstacles with the structural springs and am unsure how to resolve them, as shown in the figure:

In the initial data, the "rest_length" is pre-stored. The structural spring node is added during the middle of the simulation. The current length between two points on an edge is measured, and by comparing it with the "rest_length," the vector direction and magnitude are synthesized. The "accumulate field" node is then used to accumulate the combined forces on index 1 and index 2, respectively (since each point is influenced by deformation forces from multiple edges, the total combined force needs to be accumulated separately).

This combined force vector is stored in the edge domain and cannot be directly applied to points for offset. The original idea was that when any point is identified as index 1 of an edge, the accumulated force 1 of that edge would be used; conversely, the accumulated force 2 of that edge would be applied. However, despite trying various methods, I haven’t succeeded. I’d appreciate any help. Thank you! 屏幕截图 2025-07-23 172511.png Unfortunately, there's no way to upload the test file here.:(
