Theme Editing/Creation Improvments

SUMMARY(In case you don't want to read this bible Chapter of a post)

I would like it if it was Easier and more Intuitive to edit blenders UI, For Simple and basic User needs, as well as users that want to get so advanced that it makes My space looks like Child's Play. as well as give users the power to basically make the Blender UI how ever they want as if they were making a My Space page.

Some Context

For the past 2 days i have been working on revising a theme i made called "Blender dark plus" (I am aware of Blenders EULA and its being renamed to "Dark Plus") On blender Version 5.1.1. Because recently the scope of that theme has gotten bigger addressing some gripes I've had with blenders Default Dark, and I've been delving into the theme editor. I will also use this post to report some bugs/Visual Bugs with the User Interface entirely and if need be give a possible solution!

A Better Theme Editing environment.

The Current Theme Editor is Clunky Unorganized and could use with a complete ground up remake.

To start off!

Previewing what we are editing

So currently if you want to see what option does what you jiggle a color around and see what it does. I think it would be a massive QOL addition to the theme Editor, if there was a extended window that has a small environment to see what we are editing. and in case the end user has a really bad PC/Device and Option to preview said element rather then it being a constant preview into what you are editing.

Organization of the Theme Editor

There is Already a really Good example of what Good Organization of the the editor would look like, its the User Interface tab within the editor Sadly it drops off within and from there, and becomes really unorganized. a massive example is the Dope Sheet/Timeline Tab, as Over Half of the options for that are not even in that tab and are in a tab Called "Common". Below will be an Idea of how to Fix it, and yes all of it will be based off the way the User Interface tab organizes itself.

  • Combine Anything regarding a Specific Topic Like Animation & User interface into its own Animation Tab and then have that have sub menus Organizing what Respected editor or UI they are apart of

A Simple and Advanced & Literal Coding Versions of the editor

  • A simple Editor would combine a lot of Editor Options into 1 to universally Change a lot this would also Speed up time into making themes

  • A Advanced Editor would be what we have now but down to the Individual Widget

  • A literal IDE for Theme Creation in case people cant do something that i cover in this post

More Customization

  • Allow us to make all UI Elements have Gradients and different types of Gradients (Box, Radial, Point to Point and so forth)

  • Allow us to define witch corner can be rounded or not

  • Allow us to animate the UI Colors/Gradients (Rainbow Scroll/Fade UI idea as an example)

  • Allow us to Mask Images into the UI Elements

  • Allow us to add Icons to the UI or Change the UI Icons

  • Allow us to make Icon Packs for Theme Creation

  • For the IDE version of Theme Creation if its not already a thing give each Individual UI Element down to the widget its own definition

UI Bugs (These Are the only Bugs i have found within my time messing around with the UI and Editor)

  • So for my theme i have it so that when ever you hover over curtain UI it changes well some UI is overlapped over itself that it kinda breaks

A possible solution to this by group have the UI Element that is Selected Be Rendered over the others visually

  • The side panel tabs for the 3D View port does not get selected when hovered over by the mouse

I like how the only people that down vote stuff like this are python devs that possibly want to make ideas like this locked behind paywalls

I downvoted it, and am not selling anything.
