Open Blender with previous window size and location

When I open Blender, it always starts out full-screen. When I then click the Windows button "Restore Down", Blender changes to a resizable window that still takes up the full screen.

In my work style, I don't like software to run full-screen. So every time I open Blender, I have to click "Restore Down" and then set the size and location of its window. It would be nice if Blender would make note of the size and location of the window it's running in, and then start up in a window with that size and location the next time I open it.

AFAIK this feature already exist in Blender you can use File > Defaults > Save Startup File menu items, to save any UI changes to be new default at reopen time of Blender

* @NiCapp * It's also available from the command line. So you can set up your Blender shortcut to always launch Blender with the same window geometry and location.

* @NiCapp * Not if you update your Blender shortcut. Easily done in Windows.
