Access any Object Property from Object Info node
This new socket would give you access to any property that you can find in the Object Properties panel (e.g. Delta Transform, Ray visibility), not the least of which being Custom Properties.
This would, among other things, address this unsolved stackexchange question .

Thanks. Note however that to solve blender.stackexchange.com/questions/256376/use-self-in-drivers-to-return-a-custom-properties we would also need a way to access the current "self" node, via blender.community/c/rightclickselect/r2xK/ Also, one might want to find maybe a more elegant way to obtain multiple custom properties. For instance, by letting property output all properties, and provide a filter node to get only one custom property.
This is already implemented. If you plug the "Self Object" node into the "Object Info" node, you get its transform info and Geometry.
Custom properties can be of various types (float, string, etc...), so putting them in a single output socket would require a new socket color (for multi-type) and if you wanted to retrieve multiple properties you'd have to use multiple filter nodes.
Mixing informations that have different meanings is a bit confusing anyway. I think a more intuitive, consistent and space-saving solution would be to have a way to dynamically add property sockets, in the same way you can dynamically add and remove group inputs and outputs. Though maybe in this case, a '+' button may be better-suited than the group node solution (where you have to connect the black empty socket to turn it into a real one). With a '+' button, you could first select which property to get out before connecting it.
Oh good point, I am running 3.3.1 so this node is not yet available. And good point on the type on the output. Actually, I'm thinking that if instead we output the node instance in the object info, we don't even need to add this "+" (even if it would be great to have I guess it might be a bit annoying to implement), we could just chain multiple node info and extract the property.
