pasting dimension strings for primitives

when creating new primitives, it would be great if the value entry fields for dimensions ( in the transform panel) could smartly interpret pasted strings copied from the internet.

the popular formats seem to look like:

“17.4 x 8.8 x 6.8 cm”

“6.8 x 2 x 2.6 inches”

"3/4 in. x 3-1/2 in. x 8 ft."

"2'10" x 3'6" x 5'5""

etc depending on where you copy the info from.

I usually stop into google for a conversion to my blender units, but it occurs to me that auto-converting the pasted values into the scene’s units is not only possible, but would be an extremely handy way to easily make things scaled to be the right size from the start.
