Gizmo for the Array modifier.
With the advent of blender version 2.8, gizmo has improved quite well, and the T-panel also has its own interesting manipulators for each instrument. It would be great if gizmo was added for modifiers, I have a lot of ideas about this for various modifiers, but for now I'll start with the Array modifier.
By default, to array objects on different axes, you have to duplicate the modifier. prnt.sc/12apcbo
You can improve the whole thing in the following way:
-
Adding the ability to offset the axes and add individual counts for them. And also that "relative offset" is responsible for an additional, non-square ("shear") offset.
-
And all this to help gizmo which can be turned on and off. Which would have controllers for Axis Offset, Count, and Relative Offset ("Shear").
To these would be kotrolleram it would be good to add the ability to scale. And it would also be ideal to add the ability to rotate for radial symmetry.

Modifier list addon has implementation of this using empties:
Problem is that addon changes a lot of other stuff and empties are just workaround.
Ideally native implementation of widgets for modifiers (or for any place that accept empties for location / rotation / scale) would not create extra objects, have both precise numerical inputs and widget, optional creation of empties, etc for best of both worlds.
* @fructdw * This is a crutch option, and it still lacks the capabilities that I described and visualized.
Basically, object offset but optionally without the need of creating an extra object?

* @-L0Lock- * This is partly true, but it is necessary that in one modifier slot it is possible to duplicate objects in several axes and, yes, that the gizmo is built into the modifier itself and without dancing with tambourines with empty.
