More tools in tool palette. And Customisation?

Hi there. Now, there are plenty of tools that you either have to find through search, or know a keyboard shortcut. In case of some of those - you may not even know that the tool exists, like "Remove doubles". It doesn't have a keyboard shortcut, and you have to type it into search to find it.

Why not add more tools to the tool palette? Remove doubles, bridge, shade smooth/flat, make normals consistent, flip normals and so on? Yeah, these aren't, like, "Active tools", you just click the an an action happens, but some of those are so useful and used so often that they deserve "Top layer" visibility to the user.

Of course, that would make the button list quite large. Which leads to:

1. Add a search bar to the tool palette.
2. Give the user the ability to add and remove tools from the tool palette.
