I think that this proposal needs a bit more thought. As noted, we do already have the availability of the <kbd>Spacebar</kbd> search feature... but if there were to be a specific search field in all of those places in the interface, what would it look like? How would users see the results of the search? Would it be cluttered or confusing to see the same search widget all over the place in the interface?

Pressing the space-bar already brings up a global search field for all of Blender's tools. Is this perhaps what you're looking for?
@Wessel van der Es: Sorry for late answer but I meant something that can find also render setting when the UI get too difficult to navigate cuz it's packed with too many addons
