Mesh Data in geometry node

Hey there!

There's a persistent issue I've encountered many times: when using the Object Info node in Blender's Geometry Nodes, it only provides the geometry after any modifiers have been applied to the object. However, if you want to access the original mesh data before any modifiers are applied, you currently need to create a separate object that has no modifiers.

It would be super useful to have a new node designed specifically to read the original mesh data directly. Alternatively, this functionality could be integrated into the existing Object Info node. Maybe someone can offer a better design but the idea is there. I truly believe this feature would be a game changer for some including me :)

I ran into the same problem right now and was about to make a post. The only solution I find is creating a new object and linking object data between them. The issue is that I need to retrieve the mesh of two different objects, so I end up with lots of duplicates, cluttering the outliner.

I'm also running into this issue. This would be a great feature.

I made a similar feature request 2 years ago, it's a bit different and in a way makes more sense (the old one) so here's the link
