Push and Pull on Grab Transformation / Extra Axis Control
When grabbing we could transform object based on screen. But screen plane is 2d you could not push and pull objects as VR. see what I am talking about on time 0:40 youtube.com/watch

I see what you're wanting. You can do something similar by moving the object up to where you'd like, then use Shift + The Axis you DON'T want to move in. For example, in this video , I'm pressing Shift + Z to constrain to the X and Y axis.
I was considering to make a suggestion like this. But i was going to suggest to push and pull towards the viewing angle. Using clamp has some problems. We have to apply and regrab to move again in other axis (if you cancel the clamp it jumps to mouse position and continue). If you want to pull towards to view angle, you can use view transform orientation but this time you need to press shift+z twice to clamp to custom orientation (before that you have to set transform orientation to view). It wants too much key press every single time. In grab mode holding a modifier key can move object towards view so we can use all axes in a single command without clamping.
How exactly would you propose modifying the controls to allow for this behavior. Currently we can move in and out of the screen if we lock to a depth axis, but it's not quite as seemless as it appears in the video you've posted. So would would you suggest Blender users gain this ability.
It's not enough to post the problem. This site is for proposing actionable suggestions for improvement.
Zbrush has it and i find it very useful because i dont have to navigate sides to do this. Which modifier key do you suggest for push pull behavior?
