Better Edge Crease tool
I want to propose better Edge Crease tool.
Here how it works now:
The poly count stays the same. It just bends the surface what cause shading problems:
Because of that issue it's rarely used in hard surface modeling. What makes it not very usefully tool.
But here is the solution:
It should subdivide surface more near creases. And it should depend on how strong crease is. For example if it is 0.1 it's not subdivided more. if it's 0.5 it's subdivided once more. if it's 1.0 it's subdivided twice more. It will cause right shading and better workflow. What will make it great hard surface tool.
Thank you for your attention.

Not a bad idea, might be possible once proper OpenSubD is implemented and use the Adaptive Subdivide. Although this could end up adding lots of geometry, so it might be good to have it as a toggle.
* @mike.r.bermudez * is open subdiv in the works?
anyway without a crease set manager / editor in Blender there is little use of Crease workflow on complex models
* @Sbarcea Stefan * yep, 3ds max's crease set modifier should be looked at as an example. very powerful.
Now that guy worked at Vertex crease support maybe there is some hope to dig more into this
