Make Blender available on iPadOS/iOS

Nowadays iPad Pro's are more than powerful enough to render and create 3D scenes, so I believe that Blender should be ported over to iPadOS and iOS. Even though I do not believe people would ever attempt to use Blender on iOS but I believe that they should make it possible to use them as render devices because of how powerful they have become in recent years..

If, using your own words, no one would "ever attempt to use Blender on iOS", then why on earth would developers spend time on it?

Great argument for developer to spend hundred of hours, that would definitely convince them.

Blender wasn't designed for a touch screen interface though

There are many videos on YouTube using Blender or other programs with an iPad or any tablet with pencil wirelessly using Easy Canvas Pro, Tablet Pro, Remote Desktop...

For sculpting is perfect, like a graphic tablet, and now Blender is ARM native, same chip is in the Macbook M1 and the iPad Pro...also Apple now is a Blender patron...so why not?

Because actually getting all the power out of mac hardware to be actually used by blender has proven difficult and it's literally up to apple to help out in that area if it's ever going to happen. I hear that have started helping to get their M1 chips to render Cycles as fast as Nvidia GPUs. I have no idea when that will actually be finished and working and then Apple will have to decide to help out with getting it to run on iOS. Even if all they did was to use ipads as part of a render Blender farm it would probably still require a lot of help from Apple to get it working. All the money Blender has ever received in its entire existence is probably less than the cost of 1 year of advertising iOS products for Apple. Keep the availability of resources in mind when you make proposals.

If you are satisfied with an experience like remote access or a vm, then why even bother developing Blender for iOS?

Even if we omit all technical, usability and manpower problems there is one final reason why this won't happen in foreseeable future.

And the name of the thing is: GPL License

It seems already hard enough to support windows, Linux and especially Mac OS. For a software that isn't really designed for a mobile use in the first place.
