Problem

Sometimes I need to debug 5 out of 1000s of elements and finding those five are difficult. I can often times find them using compare operators but if the column I'm using is the viewer column I cannot preview anything else without losing my filter. I can create a special attribute stored on the object but this can be a decent amount of nodes setup just for a filter and something I'll need to remember to remove later on. Plus if I'm doing something that changes frame to frame other elements may pop in and out making the filtered items jump around making it difficult to see what's going on frame to frame.

Proposed Solution

My solution is to have persistent filters. Filters that when a button clicked (probably the pin icon) whatever is currently hidden stays hidden no matter what, allowing consistent placement of the elements in the spreadsheet despite what is plugged into the viewer node, despite what other elements normally would be visible by change of attributes, and despite anything else going on.
