Screenplay formatting in the text editor
It would be great if we could develop and conceptualize stories and screenplays in Blender. What I propose is the ability to write in screenplay format in the text editor.

There are a couple open source and open-ish programs out there but they are outside of blender. I saw a great proposal from last fall for tools that help you use Grease pencil for storyboards and animatics. This would work well with it.

With that it seems like you would have to import text from your screenplay - if would be next level if we could generate the screenplay in text editor. It'd also be good if you could print out and save the screenplay you created in B3d in PDF and other formats.
To be really functional it would keep track of scenes and shots involved and re-arrange them in sequence like you're able to do in Final Draft and Celtx etc... For that I have another follow-up, related proposal for story nodes (like index cards).

Technically speaking, this is already possible if you write using Fountain syntax for writing your scripts. It might be nice to include support clear syntax highlighting for Fountain, but I don't think it should do much more than than that (shot ordering, setting/character/prop tracking, etc.). That might be fun as an add-on but I certainly don't think there's a need for built-in support for that.
Dude: It's down there somewhere, let me take another look!
=)) Epic movie! Gonna rewatch it this evening =)).
