Make Scene update sync for FINAL RENDER the same like the viewport render, FAST
We need a fast sync for final render for the objects that don't change.
- Either bring back the Dynamic BVH switch under Cycles performance for CUDA only that existed pre - 2.8
or 2. Add an option to enable the viewport instance for final render updates.
Nowadays getting to 512 samples for modern GPUs is nothing, its like 1-2 sec with some scenes, and the sync buildup time is already longer even up to 15sec pre render. We need the dynamic BVH or like said, an implementation switch of the fast viewport update.

The option for BVH types is still there, its only hidden by default.
"Preferences" > "Interface" then check the "developer extras" checkbox > "Experimental" then check the "Cycles debug" checkbox.
With Cycles set as the render engine : "Render Properties" > "Debug" > "Viewport BVH type" (the last option) which is set on "dynamic" by default.
I may be wrong but, I think devs have removed this option in the UI since it just doesn't make sense to switch on the "static" mode for the preview mode. Usually you need something fast and interactive when working, you don't want to wait for everything to rebuild every time you make a change somewhere or move something. So "dynamic" is the default and can't be changed unless by manually searching for it in the preferences. Again, Im not absolutely sure about that, I haven't tested it myself.
* @Shimoon * No, what i want is exactly the opposite, i want the Dynamic to use for FINAL RENDER. That's the idea. Can the Dynamic be activated for Final Render ? Cause it was possible for pre. 2.8
