Floating windows for Blender 2.8
Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature where you can make windows float or pop out from the main window of Blender.
One thing I have not come to finalize is where to place the windows when you want to minimize it. Either it can be restored to its original place or maybe minimizing it in the desktop is also a good idea.
Thanks.

You can already do this and this is a pretty old feature too (Since before 2.8).
Shift + drag the top corner of a window (like when you are splitting a window) The only exception to this is the Properties menu (Shortcut: N).
Hope this helps!
* @MizManFryingP * Well it isn't really an exception, it's just that it's part of an editor and you can't display anything outside an editor. You can still resize to fit the area you want.
* @-L0Lock- * That's true! I just felt compelled to add that because John highlighted it in the picture haha
* @MizManFryingP * I didn't know it was there. I should have googled it before posting it here.
I posted again without researching. Another learning moment. Thanks for the information guys.
* @johnpdelacruz26 * Sure thing! Blender is a big program with many features, so don't beat yourself up over not knowing about it. :)
* @MizManFryingP * the only problem is you can't keep these windows on top for Windows OS which defeats their purpose, u have to use an external program to do it for you.
* @PK_GO * I didn't think about that. I have a multi monitor set up so I usually float the windows I need to the side. That's how I use this feature at least.
* @PK_GO * you mean the floating window will be place behind the screen if you click another element of window inside Blender?
If what I was thinking is right, I guess some minor tweaking might be a good idea regarding it.
It would be nice if such a window could be auto-hidden like taskbar in Windows
Have you tried this addon ? blenderartists.org/t/floating-windows-the-missing-feature-of-blender-2-8-available-soon/1163493
* @ xan2622 * Nice addon dude. I think a lot of people will be interested in using it.
* @johnpdelacruz26 *I wanted to see the code but the guy has no github and 20$ after having asked main points to some other coders on blender artist. well maybe that's normal but I'm not at ease with this
