2D animation feature
me and my friend love 2d and 3d animation but we cant afford adobe animate, but adobe animate has a feature where you can save drawings that you can use in future animations. so basically you can draw a picture of mouths in advance then while animating you can just import tho's pictures in different key frames. it would be really helpful to the 2d animation community on blender.

I think @jonesga1017 - is talking about an asset library, where you can visually organise, browse and import assets. Which is already in discussion at: code.blender.org/2020/03/asset-manager and developer.blender.org/T73366
How is that different from making a re'der of your frame and importing it in your scene?
* @-L0Lock- * a render is an image (sequence). this would be native editable artwork instead (e.g. meshes, grease pencil strokes).
think of a library of reusable grease pencil images and animations.
* @tomasz.brain * then how is it different to append/link?
* @-L0Lock- * not sure. @jonesga1017 can you elaborate on how your proposal would be different to appending/linking objects from other .blend files into the one you're working on?
