Navigation movement
So currently i hear people say the navigation is not bad but they also say they dont use half the features. and i do think that is becuase they are bad. Biggest issue i see is that the cameras pivit point is not where my screen starts but its 20dm infront of my screen so when i move with scroll it tracks a point away from my screen. Should have an option where the pivit point is where the screen starts and just call it "free-look".
Best thing would be that you add a feature that when holding "[button]" you can use WASD to moving around. You already have alot of the code ready with the "devlook". That navigation is 100x better then the default navigation.

I wouldn't attribute to other people's incompetence what's a byproduct of not understanding the software well. It's all a matter of adjusting to the software instead of forcing the software to adjust to you to meet your expectations (and anyway, most times you can do that through configuration or addons)
Blender's navigation controls are completely fine and alright when you know how to use those, and there's no need to "use it all", you only use what you need, some people will use some features, other people will use other features.
In Blender, like in any other 3DCC I've used, you don't use the "world" as a scene, you focus on the object you're working on, and then pan and orbit around it. The shortcut is the period (.) in the numpad. So you select, numpad period and then you orbit and pan and whatever, select something else, numpad period, and so on. This always you always set the center of the "world" to the object you're manipulating.
Walk/flying controls make sense in a scene centric environment, like in UE5, Unity or Blender itself if you work on a full scene as an environment artist, but even so, focusing on the item you're manipulating always helps.
And as the other comment said, you already can find walk/fly controls and assign a shortcut to those if so you desire.
In Preferences -> Navigation -> Fly & Walk you can set up things, like reversing the mouse and other stuff.
Turn on Walk Navigation and 3D navigation should work as you described.
In 3D view: View>Navigation>Walk Navigation
You can assign hotkey for that command if you want.
