N-Panel vertical letters
Vertical Tabs are a nice space-saving feature, unfortunately they completely fail at their task of displaying useful info by being rotated 90°.
Can we get the option to rotate the letters so they show vertically, like a normal vertical sign?

there are a lot of letters that are higher than wider, only a few like m or w are more wide, putting them as you suggested would leave less space for the info they should give. once you installed a number of addons the N panels can get crowded and thus blender even shortens the tab name to display them all which makes getting the desired info even harder. Actually I'd prefer to have TOOLTIPS that show the name of the tab when hovering over them over rotated letters. that would make more sense in my opinion. but I didn't downvote ;)
Hey tooltips sounds like a good solution too, maybe a bit slower when trying to find something at a glance but at least doesnt occupy any space. Personally I could live with vertical letters if we could scroll through the tab bar like we can with every other tool or icon bars but I supose it can be too much scrolling for some people when there´s too many addons there.
you can use boxes text properties or one vertical box by make 'enter ' for every letter in
