youtu.be/i4KWiq3guRU new technical papers: "Fast Fluid Simulations with Sparse Volumes on the GPU" - cs.utah.edu/~kwu/gvdb_sim.html

cs.utah.edu/~kwu/GVDB_FLIP/gvdb_flip_EG18.pdf that nvidia gvdb still looks pretty amazing, and looks like fluids v3 has this? fluids3.com/

btw. have any one see this jangafx.com/software/embergen/ embergen gpu fluid simulaiton, that is fast.

developer.nvidia.com/gvdb-samples so many good gpu tech in nvidia.

* @bowserlm * This is definitely a wonderful feature to be implemented. For this reason I suggest you to write it a bit better, in order to get people to actually want to read and upvote it: provide some simple details, explain broadly what the technique is about and how it could be implemented, if you know, don't just post a link. Add images! This will make the post more credible to the developers themselves, who are more likely to want to implement it if they find something easily readable. Keep in mind that they have tens of new proposals every day to scroll, and that this one is a big one, which deserves attention! :-)

developer.nvidia.com/gvdb nice. But it will work only with nvidia cards i guess. because of cuda.

* @juhamukari * But that would already be a big improvement ^^ Same for cloth sim. Seeing the performance gain on Marvelous Designer between CPU and GPU mode is insane
