Make “Adjust Last Operation” a Persistent, Non-Destructive Default System in Blender 5.0

Hello Blender team,

First of all, I want to say that I sincerely love Blender, and I deeply respect the developers. Blender is a free tool made by free people, and that is exactly what makes it so special for artists and industries all over the world.

I would like to raise an important usability issue that affects creative freedom inside Blender.

Currently, the “Adjust Last Operation” (Operator / Redo) panel disappears immediately when you click somewhere else, switch modes, or perform almost any viewport action. After that, there is no way to change the operator parameters anymore. For example: if I create an object (like a circle), then scale it, rotate it, or make any adjustment, I instantly lose the ability to modify the vertices count or any other operator setting.

This strongly limits user freedom. During modeling, we often need to return to the original operator settings even after performing additional actions — but Blender removes this possibility once the panel disappears.

My request is simple but very important:

Please make the “Adjust Last Operation” system fully persistent.
It should remember the history of every object and allow the user to modify operator parameters at any moment, even after performing other actions.

This should not be hidden behind Preferences or optional toggles.
This should be the default behavior of Blender , because true freedom in the workflow is one of Blender’s greatest strengths.

Having to delete an object and recreate it from scratch just to change vertices or other operator parameters is extremely limiting, especially in a creative environment.

A persistent, non-destructive operator history would push Blender’s modeling workflow to a whole new level. This is one of the last remaining areas where creative freedom still feels restricted — and improving it would be a huge step forward.

Please take this request seriously.
It comes from a place of love for Blender and a desire to see it become even more powerful for everyone — beginners, professionals, and entire industries.

Love you all ❤️

This is an amazing idea! I’ve had this thought stuck in my mind for a long time — it’s been bothering me so much. I really hope Blender decides to finally make this feature permanent so it doesn’t disappear anymore. I actually came here today to write exactly about this, and this was the first post I saw!

that's parametric modeling and it's WIP with geo-nodes,it's going to take awhile before it's fully functional. The caveat is when you enter edit mode each time, you'll then have to confirm the changes. I don't know how they're going to solve it.

There is a shortcut F9 which I found in a youtube video after years of usage of blender.
