Interactive Button with Geometry Nodes

I would love to see a way to spawn a button inside of geometry nodes, you could spawn them on points that would be available inside the viewport, and the button would have extra options like booleans or integers, giving the user more control on the outcome of the result.

Some real-world uses that come to mind

  • Creating a procedural building, I could select a button that was spawned on a wall, and replace that individual selection with a window or door while keeping my values for adjusting the building.

  • A character could have buttons spawned on swappable areas, like at the head area to change to a hat or helmet, a button on each hand to change between weapons, or a button on the chest to pick which top he or she is wearing.

  • An Interactive 3D web page users can click, changing the output of the page in real-time.

It would give the user so much control, and I am sure there are far more things you could do with this.

I did look to see if anyone posted this, but could not find anything, but also not sure if this idea is too hard to impliment.

I'm trying to develop a switch that you can drag and activate by using the new gizmos in blender 4.3. I'm not yet where I'd like to be (I need something beyond a simple switch) but I'm working on it. A button is undoubtedly harder to realize
