Git Addon Install Option

Hello everyone! This idea is similar to what Unity does In It's Package Manager, allow for the user, in case of Blender, to along with using a normal Zip file install to alternatively install from a Github URL (SSH or HTTPS) blender will then download the contents of the link and install It on It's own as normally.

The benefit to this will be allowing blender to check (if there's internet connection, otherwise leave as is until conditions are met) the source URL for updates on sftware boot and update it automatically (or adding a button next to it if you want extra safety) without having to re-download and install it all over again by hand every time an update is released and to worsen for every single addon the user may have installed that needs an update.

like jozehicks mentions, this is being implemented as part of the Extensions Project.

Blender will be able to access online repositories, which if they follow a defined format will be able to list, install, and update extensions such as add-ons.
