Normal editing, need aditional features

I am doing a lot of normal editng, even manual. I can do what i need to do but sometimes its highly inefficent.

  1. need proportinal editing for things like rotating normals, or point to target.
  2. rotating normals evenly outwards, not just on one axis. (something like rotating along the face normal or so)
  3. maybe haveing values for x/y/z like you have in the item window.

you have x/y/z values if you use the "point to target" but these values are total and not in relation to its current position. And it doesnt work for individual normals, it will apply to all normals. (in other words) i can not let normals point "more down evenly" wich is problematic if you have a edge loop that is a bit weirdly formed for example. 4. you can not controll the "split ammount" of vertecis. you can not rotate the vertex, will rotate both normals. you can not rotate the edge, will rotate all 4 normals. you CAN rotate the face, it will not rotate the normal of the other face BUT it will rotate all 4 verteci normals of that face. you can smooth the vector but it will move both normal, also not optimal.

need a option to controll the split ammount.

  1. point to target needs something like a offset so they dont point directly at this one point but point a bit more streight.

there might be more. maybe like in particle edit haveing a brush tool or so but this is the most important stuff i could think of, wich i feel is missing.

* @xxerbexx1 * I wonder if there could be a brush-based solution for some of these ideas?
