Node that shows Min and Max values
Why we don't have a node that show Min and Max values that are connected to it? For example if a color connected to this node it shows min and max values of R and G and B. It would be very useful for debugging procedural textures, and maybe not only. Thank you for your attention.

it would have to render all possible values on all possible polys on all meshes it's put on to be correct. This is quite the typical case of infinite calculations.
* @vangel * you didn't understand me. I mean a NODE that shows min and max values(as a number), for example maximal R value in node set up will be displayed only(1.0, or maybe above or below this value), ignoring all the others values. Showing number in the node itself, not on the model. Although, I understand what you mean, but in many cases maximal values will be the same across all the situations, in particular node setup. Noise texture, for example, has 1.0 maximum value by default. But of course it can be shifted what can be shown in the node. The idea is to debug values before connecting to PBR shader node.
I am uncertain whether this is mathematically possible or not. For example you can determine the maximum value of a quadratic function but can you do it for any type of function? If it is possible, then this could theoretically be implemented. Another question is what output should it give when the function has no limit (when the values go up to infinity)?
Explain yourself sir.
You may think that RGB values have a min and max value of 0 and 1 but they do not. You can set them boyond these limits if you wish.
What Node(s) are you talking about?
Why would a generic number value have a min and max value?
* @LilacDogoo * And if you set it the node will show it. Please, read my comment above.
