Please bring SHIFT + F for Walk Navigation and Shift+R for Fly Navigation
For some reason it seems that in 2.8 Navigation methods have no Shortcuts , Shift+F was the most used shortcut of mine while animating cameras (outside of Numpad . / Numpad Canc to re-center view)
it hurts workflow to not have any keybind for something that beforehand had it So
SHIFT + R for Fly navigation (because when you use it it feels like a navigation based on Rotation)...................... SHIFT + F for Walk navigation ( Because it feels like First person mode and shift +f is what it had before)
Both combinations seems to be free ,so why not?

Shift + f replaced by Shift + ~. The shortcut hasn't been removed but replaced
@aryeramaty: Well... Not in the default keymap.
@loic.dautry: it's called minimal keymap for a reason no more fighting over hotkeys, people shouldn't ask for bringing back hotkeys because you can do it yourself and that's why now they are adding RMB to assign any hotkey to these commands or added them to quick favorite.
Where is it called "minimal" ?
@loic.dautry: what do you mean? it's a concept if you want to follow, it's in the dev forums ..the concept is straight forward, u give the users the possibility to make their own custom keymap including even in each workspace or template..etc and for the olds crying about 2.79 there will be a "classic" one just like we have right now in the splash screen, the goal is to make blender more accessible to people who use left click select which is the rest of the world. ..2.8 keymap is not final that's why most of old keys are removed from default, they are making tests..etc on which works and not in both Left/right select
I mean nothing, I ask you where is it stated that the default 2.8 keymap is called minimal and meant to be minimalistic as you mentioned before.
Nobody's talking about other keymaps currently developed.
@loic.dautry: here in the dev site

Dude you're off topic.
@loic.dautry: what;????? how so care to explain, have you even red what's in the tasks hmmmmmm
Calm down. I know the different keymaps works going on, the thing is that here on this RCS topic , we are not talking about the minimal keymap nor the industry standard keymap. We are talking about Blender's default keymap.
Let me quote what's written in the Default Keymap revamp :
" more minimal " are the words used, do not confuse with the actual " minimal keymap ". The default keymap is not meant to be minimal, but compared to prior defaults keymaps it will be less heavy. This is the only statement made and the core of the debate comes from the next line :
And here we are talking about including the walk/fly navigations in those so-called "set of defaults". The question is more about if those tools can be considered as "key tools", and how to map them.
Posting about how people are crying from 2.7 keymaps and haughtily arguing that people shouldn't even ask and make their own keymaps is completely off topic, on top of not being appropriate.
If you don't consider those tools aren't key enough to get included in the default keymap, explain why, otherwise you might just not be concerned at all by this topic.
@loic.dautry: the 2.8 defaults will be a minimal keymaps including the 2.79 one, hence the removal/changing of F5-F10 ,shift+F or R and many more..there are many tools and options added so including walk/fly navigation and what previous default had is not possible anymore they are now accessible through other ways this is the design of 2.8 that the developers are following since the beginning ...it seems you who couldn't get this point yet.
And my previous answer, especially the lasts two paragraphs, sums up exactly the issue with your comments. I won't follow you walking circles around.
@loic.dautry: whatever u say!! and they are not going to change.
you can do it yourself
I'm absolutely with you on this - i think it's a good Idea to create a more minimal keymap in general, but Shift + F was too essential to be removed in my opinion. Maybe the key combination could be rethought though.
Shiift + R for Flymode is not too important I think.
i get your pain but just use quick fav menu. the keyboard is already overpopulated with shortcuts.
