Implementation of different types of projection for 2D procedural textures.

Right now only image texture node has option to use different types of projections. What I propose is to make possible for 2D procedural textures to do the same thing. In that way we can apply 2D(with excluded Z axis) procedural textures to 3d objects, without seams, or other problems that UV unwrapping can create. That will make texturing workflow more flexible, like in substance painter.

Blender projection system is 10 time more powerfull than substance painter's. Sorry to be that guy, but you just don't know about them. Also, as said by @testure , don't post screenshot from a proprietary software

* @Peine_Perdue * About what I don't know? Above is the node set up that is required to achieve the same effect as image texture node's box projection. But it is not implemented for procedural textures. I want Box projection for 2D procedural textures. I do not talk what is more powerful, but about missing features, that can be handy. it's not 10 times more powerful it is absent without complex node setup. What it has is 3d noises that do not fit when you are trying to apply 2D procedural textures to surface only. I passed course about procedural texturing on blender cloud, and it is recommended to keep procedural textures as 2D for materials that will me only on the surfaces(with some exceptions, like wood texture), it creates problem when texture is applied to surfaces in different orientations, solution is to UV unwrap the model, but it is not always desirable, and again substance painter has option to box project 2D procedural textures on object. Blender doesn't have quick way to do that. blender.stackexchange.com/questions/216371/how-can-i-achieve-box-projection-with-blend-for-procedural-2d-textures-using-onl/216418 blenderartists.org/t/box-mapping-with-procedural-texture/625937
