Show grid origin in the Shader Editor.

It would be nice to have the option to see the x and y origin in the shader editor grid like this:

Grid.jpg

so we would know where in the editor grid we are and help position nodes in a way that would reduce the need to pan around when switching between materials being edited.

There is a patch under review for this developer.blender.org/D13132

If you move too far into one quadrant, you lose the center again. Could the center indicator (whatever it ends up looking like) be made sticky to the editor's edges?

I also need a 3d cursor and the ability to snap selected nodes to the 3d cursor (keep offset) and the ability to snap the 3d cursor to the shader editor grid world origin.

Definitely a must, no idea why they removed this with 3.0.
