Roll camera proporsal

Good morning everyone. Today I wanted to present some proposals with which I usually work on Blender, and see what you think:

Another thing that I find very useful is the camera roll, I have it in alt + middle mouse and with this I can rotate and paint or sculpt with more comfortable angles for my wrist.

There was a camera roll shortcut in B2.7x. I'd actually like to see a Grease Pencil drawing workflow with similar camera controls to GIMP or KRITA, to make things feel more like an image editor.

But I mostly just want a modal operator for roll, so I don't have to set the roll angle really low and just hit the button over and over.

I would love to have an Shift Alt MMB shortcut in the default keymap for this. The missing part is support for the camera view, image editor and better behaviour when using Turntable navigation. But so far it already works great when adding the shortcut yourself for Trackball navigation in the 3D Viewport.

Agreed, it is a good use for Middle mouse, especially for grease pencilers. Not many people know it but Alt is used to snap the camera, probably because ctrl is used for snapping everywhere else in Blender. But I think the reason camera Roll is avoided is because it can be hard to get thing leveled out again, so maybe ctrl + alt for Roll snapping?

Navigation is important and middle click feels unfinished, after pressing down middle click shift and ctrl aren't even being used. For Consistency, the shift could slow the movements down for precision.

The most useful hotkey I ever added is Double middle clicking, it centers the view on the selected object (same thing as . on the numpad but better becuase you don't have to move your had off navigation).

Strangely all the Double Middle Clicks are open so use them to replace the numpad, Shift Double M is Local View (same as /), Ctrl Double M is for perspective (same as 5), and Alt Double M is for camera view (same as 0). And with that set up the Numpad is replaced which is extreemly helpful and I think it should be the default set up since not everyone has a numpad.

alt + shift + middle mouse is better for this, because alt + middle click you can use it for set the views.... Or do you mean the mouse wheel Up/Down?...
