I really really like this proposal! I love the T panel in 2.7 and this proposal keep the T panel but also includes all the awesome 2.8 features! Huge thumbs up!!
It's nice that you've shared that over on devtalk, but it would be better if you included the full text and images here.
Sorry, but this proposal is a mess. 👍
My only one problem with the T panel is that a lot of addons were using their own tab, making this panel quickly unusable. Problem solvable by addons allowing the user to choose which tab to use, but not every addon does that...
So IMHO, a good thing would be to "force" the toolbar's addons to have this parameter and let the user make his sweety sweet dough.
Also, the current 2.8 T panel could be merged to the old one with another tab, as both are great, but for different users... :o)
