Automatically right frame number for reference videos and images
I imported video for reference. And then wondered long time, why all isn't showing and first thought it was because if cache or something. Then I noticed in objects "data"-section there was default frame number "100", when video was 261 frame long.
Could it be it would automatically change to right frame number, when reference imported?
Looks like same is with image-sequence as reference.

This is also an issue for me when using videos as image textures. I now have to go to the Image Editor where in the sidemenu there is a button that fatches the total number of frames.... An easy copy-paste to fix this I would hope.
not guessing the right number of frames for a video is a pain!
in general the automatic playback sucks , you might have differnet framerate on the video or you want it to evaluate only on every second frame or loop on a specific frame ). its easier to animate the offset with an expression and set the other 2 values to 1 ..
example expression(evaluate on thirds and loop at frame 120):
(frame // 3 ) % 120
