The ability to flip and rotate the "canvas" in Draw Mode
My favorite feature to have in a drawing app is the ability to easily flip and rotate the canvas without transforming the drawing itself. It makes drawing at tricky angles a lot easier, and it helps to be able to look at the drawing from a different perspective when checking for mistakes. These kinds of features exist in all the industry-standard animation programs, so I think it would fit well with the 2.8 Grease Pencil interface.

As an industry standard animation package Blender can of course do this. Just hold down Ctrl + Shift + Mouse Wheel
Yup. That makes me think, this function isn't on the new navigation gizmo...
@renderhjs: Yes, try this combination on wacom.
I do it literally hundreds of times every day, what's the problem?
@renderhjs: Doing that just zooms
@jkecwlkr: Doesn't work in 2.8 (just tested) only in 2.79 series. Mouse wheel + ctrl + shift (or cmd instead of ctrl on the mac). Demo farm2.staticflickr.com/1949/44326211915_9a795bab65_o.gif
Now that I think about it, I had to do some tricks in order to get this shortcut working on my tablet, because you can "roll the mouse wheel" with a stylus, at least not while having the same button assigned as MMB...
Besides that, it's a shame the only way to rotate the view plane can only be done via mouse wheel: it can only be incremental, can't get a smooth & precise rolling and it's quite nice to have the rotation following the hand movement. At least I like this feeling in 2D softwares.
