Nondestructive texture projection

I propose to make nondestructive painting, with using planes as projectors. There is similar add-on to what I want, but I want it with real-time updating of changes. It will be able to use blender as substance painter, but with more flexibility. youtube.com/watch

This is already something you can do using Object coordinates in the shader graph. You can use an empty as the Object coordinate and move it non destructively.

* @Peine_Perdue * I think you didn't understand me. I mean to project an image from one object to another, it is not possible currently. With empty, you need to set up texture in the object you are changing, but I am talking about something like mask that dependent on other objects textures, and can be duplicated without changing node structure. And currently this workflow(that you suggested) will produce a lot of headaches. But I want a more fluent approach. That do not require changing material during the process of creation. Again Look at video of add-on, it shows exactly what I need, only I need it real-time.
