Add a new input socket directly into the node to Index Switch

Same idea applies to menu switch, I think it's great UX improvement to add a small icon (even better if it's visible only on hover!) to add a new input socket.

The reasoning is you don't always have a connection to add a new input so it would be handy to have a button :)

This feature was added in Blender 5.0. Interestingly, it was not mentioned in the release notes.

It's been possible for a long time!!!

  1. in Geometry nodes Editor Select Index Switch Node
  2. Press N key (NumericPanel)
  3. Go to Node Tab
  4. Properties press button "+ Add Item"

Haha I know it's possible but it's not intuitive enough :)
