Shift+R (Repeat Last) Treat Pick Shortest Part(ctrl+Left click) as a nomal select

here the thing

  • When I use nomal select like "Left click" or “shift+Left click” or “alt+Left click” to select in Edit mode select face> bevel (or do anything) face> select other faces by "Left click" or “shift+Left click” or “alt+Left click” > shift+R to repeat bevel (or do anything) faces... that ok.

  • If I use the “ctrl+Left click” to select other faces then use shift+R to repeat last it just repeat pick shotest part again.

  • Now what I want is : select face> bevel (or do anything) face> select other faces by “ctrl+Left click” > shift+R to repeat bevel (or do anything) faces.

Shift+R repeats last operation. Selecting "shortest path" is an operation.

* @zubenelgennubi * A macro recorder is the better method regardless.

"Repeat Last" only responds to operations and not the full Undo system. A macro recorder "records" every click of a button and stores it.

* @Rodger Davis * Indeed - Macros should be easily recordable, editable and be able to put in a menu or the quick favorites.

IIRC this is planned, though
