Make presets for render audio
I always use wave when I render audio out so it'd be cool if every time that I went to the render audio screen that wave was always selected without even setting a preset like in daz studio they do that a lot

What you're describing is not a preset, and is already a feature. Make a new file, change export to wav, and go to file > defaults > save startup file.
Don't put "this is a good idea" in the title, it signals to me that it's likely not a good idea, as a good idea wouldn't need that.
