Frame Offset for Background Movie Clip References in Camera

I (and many others probably, especially other VFX artists), would find it extremely useful to offset the starting frame for background image sequences in the camera. That way we can offset to say frame 101 instead of frame 1 so we can prebake certain simulations. I'm currently getting around this by animating it at frame 1 and then moving all animations down the timeline. This is not a very modular approach as it requires everything to be locked in and final before you even TOUCH simulation. I also have problems with some animations being offset incorrectly because I have no frame of reference and can only notice errors in the final render.

You can open a clip editor, select the clip you're using in Camera background and adjust the starting frame there. Starting frame of your camera background video will be adjusted as well. It would be great to have this option directly in camera background settings though.

* @den33.info * this tidbit of info just changed my life! would still be nice if you could change it from the camera, since its more intuitive, and I get the feeling many others might not know about this.
