Quad Topology for Text

It is very weird that when we convert the text object to mesh, it is having a triangulated and not uniformly spaced geometry that is not suitable for operations like Shrink wrap to spherical/curved shape. It is okay if I have few words but when I need to project hundreds of words, it is very difficult to manually correct the topology. Why cant blender have inbuilt function for these 26 letters.

I think that if Blender was able to retopologize correctly it would have been done a long time ago, and not only for letters

* @moonboots * Yes you are right, Tools like Quad remesher will be great.

* @mrajendra2150 * Good idea. Then it could work on different fonts too! Quad remesh modifier optimized for text by keeping the outline in the same place?

Not sure about this specific solution, but i'd rather see quads as well. Maybe optional have an operation to reduce quads to minimum (ea no inner squares, and the T could be just 3 quads..

quads are excessive, but autobeautify is needed, i suppose. Also proper remesh modifier for this

Only good solution available at the moment is to buy the Blender version of the remesh feature that is also used by ZBrush.

I had the same problem just a few days back. I ended up using a very dense remesh, but it was not optimal. Topology like the image above would be much better.
