Report users/report spam
I really hate that this is happening in the blender community and don't like the idea of muting other's voices, but it needs to be addressed.
It's become obvious that we need to be able to report people who are abusing this website. We have a certain user who is verbally attacking other users, calling them Judas and psychotic and pigs, questioning their sexual orientation, etc. just for disagreeing with their point of view. This has moved beyond right-click select and moved into the wider Blender.Community with the user calling other people out and suggesting they have views that have not been expressed in posts elsewhere in the greater community. The user is also spamming, creating the same proposal over and over, forcing the admins to have to clean up after them. This is just a single user, but there is nothing keeping this from happening in the future.
This user needs to be banned and we need controls to keep this from happening again. In the US this kind of online harassment is a punishable offense by law in most states.

I'm pretty thick skinned when it comes to these things. You can call me whatever you want and it doesn't hurt me. Mess with this great community and make this forum less useful...then we have problems. Can we make this problem go away?

Long time don't want to vote this up.
But it need to have something to show someone that call all around as " pigs ", etc. = to be banned. So many red lines was crossed. So many people try to explain what is wrong. But this one just don't hear no one. Absolutely without brakes. Maybe this one person really don't understand what's wrong. Maybe some kind of disease.
Jason - take banhammer or make banhammer and then take it and do what it need to do. Right now it need to give this one person enough time to rest from writing messages and think about what's wrong...
What a shame to watch all this... Just stop all this trash.
@forestgumpovu4: Seriously, I guess this guy just couldn't discern between a debate and a personal attack. I've seen and been a part of some pretty heated debates around blender's direction, but never seen it devolve into calling people pigs/gay/nazi/totalitarian.

Look. No need to touch this no more. For today all was clear and on top. All known what it need to do and why. We all have to stop talking about it and let users in " last comments " find comments under suggestions for Blender but not about results of this one person few days activity.
I guess Jason know what it need to do...
The best way is not to engage in discussions with people like that, and just ignore them, although the "report" button would be a good solution

User management controls are certainly on my wishlist for Dillo (this site's backend). Pablo and Francesco are aware of it.

@chimpin_75: There isn't a bug. This is a feature request. That's why it's in the Meta tag on this site and not on the issue tracker on GitHub.

I had an interesting talk with CNI (the Spanish equivalent to the FBI). The agent (maybe a translator?) found what she saw on this forum as very interesting, though she said that she would most likely pass the information on to lesser agencies. Apparently what Chimpin is doing here is punishable by 6 - 24 months in prison. The Blender foundation may be contacted by them, but since Chimpin linked his personal website to his account, she said it was probably unnecessary. I told her that was good since the BF was pretty busy right now. She read off his name, college, and interests to me from his website. This was pretty shocking since I thought for sure he was a child and was truly shocked to find that someone who went to an art school couldn't handle even the mildest form of criticism. Overall, I had a fun lunch break.
Anyways, back to work for me.
Ah .. anyway ... I did not think it would go that far. I even started insulting him once I saw his website and realized that he was not even a child. I'm sorry now that it has taken this turn. I was having a good time ... But at least the Blender comunity will be better off. Let's go back to work ...
@valentinwn: I take cyberbullying and online harassment very seriously. A friend of mine committed suicide after she was relentlessly harassed online. I will forever miss her and will remain intolerant of the behavior that sent her to her grave at such an early age.
Always thought this was a peaceful network where professional could bring some help to beginners, and a place to share your skills. Never needed a report button, but I guess you always need one.
Sorry about our friend, @l.torrecilla: I would recommend not commenting on this thread, or you will be harassed as well. You might be called some mean words; like “tyrant.”

I'm moderator/admin on some places, some of them which communities are supposed to be composed of mature and kind peoples, ... Some are professionals, others are caritative associators, also faithful & peaceful Christians, etc.
But the bottom line is: no matter the salad, there's always a worm in it.
I really don't like all of the noise created by this one user and realize that my proposal is just adding to this noise, but hopefully this will put an end to it. This forum needs to be clean so good ideas can be discovered without having to wade through a lot of useless posts, hate speech and bickering.
