Make cameras and lights function more like real world equipment

This is probably going to elicit an immediate no, but think it would be useful to have the option for the camera and lenses to respond more like you'd expect in an SLR. So adjusting the f-stop will also effect exposure and depth of field, and instead of a separate exposure setting, that becomes your ISO setting - optional grain? You could even have a shutter speed option, which determins how much motion blur you have.

I work a lot in TV studios and also do a fair bit of photography, and I find the current system confusing with each setting having no direct effect on the other. It would also be cool to have a diagram, similar to what After FX has (see attached image), so you can get a visual idea of what your setup is.

Further down the line, it would be great to have preset lenses that mimic commercially available lenses. Maybe lens companies could even find a way to get on board with that?

For lights, I would like to see the option for adjusting the colour by temperature. A simple gobo system would be good too, one where you can simply slot in your image alpha channel to achieve the desired effect.
