Close, Mark or hide already implemented ideas

When sorting ideas by Rating, first page is populated by many ideas which have been already implemented, especially recently. It would be good to somehow mark or hide those so that the ideas which have not been implemented yet can rise to the top of the rating ladder.

It'd be appropriate to add yet another category called "Finished" where all the finished ideas go, and exclude them from the other listing orders.

This is part of the long term plan for the site, with associated links to patches/tasks on developer.blender.org . It's in the plan, just needs to be implemented.

* @Jason van Gumster * Any news on this? Every single time I wrote a bug report that was at least slightly in the territory of an incomplete feature, it was closed and I was linked to here. But how are the developers supposed to pick out the ideas here in the clutter where half of the already implemented ones are still present? For example when sorting by rating, half of the first page is already implemented stuff :|

Does this really require waiting for some patch/overhaul? Isn't it possible to just archive, or even delete already completed requests?

* @rawalanche * I'm not managing the development of this site, just admining it (though if I could find the time, I could always submit a patch to Pablo and Francesco).

In the meantime, I'd suggest that if you run across a feature that's already been implemented, send me a direct message (probably via BlenderArtists.org or perhaps Twitter) with a link to the proposal. I can then change its status to Done.

Progress on this: we have statuses for Done, In Development, and Duplicate. Each can be displayed slightly differently in the list. Currently there's not a flagging mechanism, but what we have is a good start.
